Sofar, I've gotten a decent amount of clicks from it that give me more than I get from other free networking sites (twitter, blogs, etc.). It's been more effective than Facebook Ads for me sofar, I think because Craftster is very focused on crafts and art so people are more interested. Advertising is expensive though (even for Craftster which is really cheap) and I couldn't do it all the time. If you're looking for paid advertising though, I'd recommend trying out Craftster. I also have a bunch of ads on Project Wonderful now so if you're at a craft blog, I might be on one of them.
I have 110 items in my shop which I think is the most I've ever had at once. I'm going to be making some new items soon and I still have some old ones I need to list. It's hard to believe how much the items add up after a while. I'd never think I'd have 100+ items in my shop when I first opened it.
I also heard about two new craft shows. I got a newsletter from Esperanza, the school where I had a craft show at this summer. They are having a winter/holiday craft show in November and I think I'm going to apply for it. I heard at the other craft fair I went to that they get more people during the holiday event so that's good. The craft fair in the summer was fun, but it wasn't that busy.
In other news, I moved to the new room in my house. I think I like it better. It has all these shelves and there's a perfect storage area for my crafting stuff. I'll take photos later and post them here. I'm still working on decorating it so I didn't want to take photos yet.
My college has a theme every year (last year it was the Year of Health) and this year it's the Year of Social Change, which is a theme I really like. I guess it's kind of a broad topic, but they're having various speakers at our school. I saw Kathy Eldon speak last night. Her son died while photojournaling and there was a film she made about it. Julia Roberts is supposed to play her in a movie which I thought was really neat.
I'm also finishing on a project in my Painting class. I got my first one done, but we started working on a still life and it's due already. It's this interesting technique where you do an underpainting in acrylic paint where you paint the light and shadows and you go over that with colored oil paint. It's fun, I can't wait to see how mine turns out.

What a great idea to advertise on Craftster! I have to work up to an inventory like yours (110 items, faint).
