Italy: Venice

This is part of a series of posts of my trip to Italy. See past posts here:
Rome   Montefalco   Florence   Verona   Venice

Venice was our last stop on our trip to Italy. Venice is so pretty. I love how unique it is and that the roads are all water. The only means of transportation are by boat and walking.

I had to do a research paper and presentation while in Venice. I did my presentation in a museum in Venice while pointing out different paintings. It was fun to be able to present in a museum and see all the famous paintings I studied in real life (the paintings were a lot bigger than I expected).

I went on a gondola ride which I’ve always wanted to do. I got lots of good photos on my gondola ride.

This was a view of the Grand Canal. I had a photo of the Grand Canal in my dorm room so it was fun to see it in real life.

I got this photo of candles in a church in Venice.

Overall, this was my first trip overseas and my first time visiting Italy. I am happy I finally made it to Italy since I took Italian in high school. I wish I had more time in all the places we went to. I definitely want to go back someday.
