Birchbox and EtsyVeg

One of my blog entries was mentioned on Birchbox's blog. Birchbox is a service where you pay $10 for a box of beauty samples that comes once a month. It lets you try new beauty products without having to pay full size for them. I upcycled one of their cardboard boxes and posted an entry about it on here.





I was really excited that they saw my blog post and decided to put a link to my blog. :) You can learn more about Birchbox on their website.

Also, I was featured in this EtsyVeg blog treasury that's theme was sunshine and roses. I think it's kind of related to Birchbox because one of my upcycled cards was featured:

New Photography

Here are some recent photos I've taken around my garden:









We're growing sunflowers in our garden so I'm doing this photography project for myself where I'm taking photos of the sunflowers in different stages of blooming. I'll post photos of that when I'm done.

I'm also in the process of making a banner for this blog. I've always just had text at the top of this blog so I think it would be nice to have an image. I can't wait to get it up!

Etsy for Animals Pet Loss Article

I got featured on the Etsy for Animals team blog. I was in this article about healing from pet loss by using your creativity. This card got featured:

This was homemade ice cream I made. The texture didn't turn out completely right because I don't have an ice cream maker, but it still tasted really good.

EtsyVeg Challenge Winner
