The holidays are here — which means it’s officially nail art season! Whether you’re trimming the tree or sipping cocoa, a cute festive manicure makes every moment a little more seasonal. This look has festive Christmas trees.
What You’ll Need
- Base coat & top coat
- Red, white, green, black, yellow, and blue nail polishes (or acrylic paints)
- Thin nail art brush or striping brush
- Dotting tool or bobby pin
- Toothpick (for details)
- Optional: Glitter polish or rhinestones for sparkle
✨ Design #1: Candy Cane Stripes
Step 1: Apply a white base coat to all nails.
Let it dry completely.
Step 2: Using a striping brush and red polish, paint diagonal stripes across each nail.
Keep spacing even for that classic candy cane look.
Step 3: Add a clear top coat once dry.
Optional: Add a stripe of fine red glitter between the lines for shimmer!
🌲 Design #2: Snowy Christmas Trees
Step 1: Paint nails a soft white base to mimic a snowy sky. You can also use a light blue.
Step 2: Using green polish and a fine brush, paint small triangle trees.
Start with a wide base and stack shorter lines to the top for a pine shape.
Step 3: Add tiny white dots with a dotting tool or toothpick to mimic falling snow.
Add ornaments in different colors with a dotting tool. Use gold or yellow for a star on top!
These Christmas nails are the perfect combo of festive, fun, and DIY-friendly. Pair them with a cozy sweater or your favorite hot cocoa mug and you’re ready for literally anything December throws your way.
