Mini Sample Greeting Cards

I made mini cards for this month's Vegan Craft Sample Bags. I definitely recommend checking them out if you like cruelty free items and want to see a variety of craft products. You can buy the sample bag in different sizes ranging from $15-$35 and all the money goes to a charity. I said I would go in to more details about my cards. Here's some photos from my Flickr of some of the cards I sent out:

Updates and New Cards

I listed some new cards. This one is great for music lovers:

Music Notes Wavy Card

I meant to get this one up by Valentine's Day:

I Love You Black and Pink Hearts Fabric Card

I've also been listing more products on my Storenvy. I don't know if anything will sell, but it's a fun site to try out. There's an event for Earth Day and I might be selling some of my items for a few hours. It's kind of like a craft show, but less official.

I have some envelopes I made out of decorative paper that I want to list. They're all different sizes and some don't fit the standard envelope sizes. I'm still perfecting them, but I thought I might list a few. Would you buy envelopes from my shop? I'll have more journals listed soon.

Vegan Craft Sample Bag

Some of my sample greeting cards are in the Earth Day sample bag from Vegan Samples. I didn't make enough for every bag so it's not a guarantee you'll get one of my cards if you buy one, but each bag comes with a bunch of vegan friendly sample crafts. A team I'm in, the EtsyVeg team, is also sponsoring this month. Profits From Earth Day Bags go to Carolina Pet Rescue so it's also helping a cause if you buy from them. You can buy a bag here!

You can see my Zebra card in the above photo. I made a bunch of A2 sized cards which I think are the smallest greeting cards available. Each has a different decorative paper on the outside and comes blank on the inside. I also have my business card inside each one. Here's a photo of some of them:

Various A2 Mini Cards

I'll go in to more detail about each card in another entry. I made two of this music note one so I put one on sale in my shop. It's perfect for music lovers or musicians:

Let me know if you decide to purchase. I hope it helps spread the word about my shop a little. I'd also like to know if you like mini (A2) size cards. They're good for sending a quick note or putting them in gifts (if you don't want a full size card). I'm thinking of putting more in my shop.

Storenvy and Blog Award

I found this site called Storenvy which is sort of like Etsy. You can sell handcrafted items and bands also use it to sell merchandise. I found it because I bought a shirt from one of my favorite bands off there. I've tried selling on Artfire and wasn't as successful as on Etsy, but I decided I should just try it out. I opened a store (link above) where I'm going to try selling a couple items. I'll let you know how my views/sales are. I love the layout of the site and it's just something fun/different to try out. If you enter the code "BLOG" at checkout, you get 20% off, just for my blog readers. :)

Speaking of blogs, I got this nice blog award from Owlsome Gifts.

Put the logo on your blog or within your post.
Pass the award to 12 well-deserving bloggers.
Link the nominees within your post.
Let them know they received it by commenting on their blog.
Share the love and link to the person from whom you received the award.

I'm passing the reward on to:
Sweets and Hearts
Little Paper Dog
Smitten Kitchen
Bookbinding Team
Stacey Winters
Dulce Candy
Etsy Giveaways
Paper Tissue
Una Bella Vita
Inspire Please
The Invisible Child
Quoteskine

The blogs are kind of a mix of everything - craft, photography, fashion, food, etc. Check them out! Also feel free to recommend me any blogs. :) Happy Friday!

New Cards and 365 Project

I listed some new cards. These cards are great to give out in spring or to nature lovers:

Orange and Yellow Flower Card

Green Grass Thank You Greeting Card

I also listed this love related card:

Sweetheart Gold Glitter Greeting Card

I feel like I haven't had time to go on Etsy lately because I've been so busy. I'm trying to post on my Tumblr every day and list something almost every day.

I'm doing a 365 Project on Flickr. My camera broke the other day and I almost had to end the project. I have a 35mm film camera though and I'm using black and white film with it for my 365 project until my digital camera is fixed. I haven't used my film camera in a while so it's kind of fun to use. I hope the photos turn out.

Easter Eggs

Happy Easter! You can check out the Easter section in my shop to get late/early Easter cards and springtime inspired items. Here's some inspiration for decorating Easter eggs I found around the web:

Do you decorate Easter eggs? What kind of things do you do for Easter?

Autism Awareness Day

It's World Autism Awareness Day! You can learn more about the holiday here. My brother has autism and I'm also part of the Etsy for Autism Team so I have a couple autism themed items in my shop. These journals use the official autism fabric:

Autism Awareness Journal

Mini Autism Awareness Journal

I also got this new greeting card. It uses joker decorative paper I got in Italy and has a unique shape. I listed it on April Fool's Day because I think it kind of fits the holiday. Did anybody do/experience any good April Fool's pranks?

Joker Greeting Card

Hope everyone has a good weekend!
