How to Find Creative Backgrounds for Etsy Photos

Backgrounds are good to use for product photos because they add interest to photos.

These are some other props that are good to use:

• Props that show the size of an item

• Natural items like pine cones 

In this photo, I used pine cones over a cutting board to add a natural look for Christmas related photos.

I just added my greeting card to the top of the pine cones.

Close up shots can help show the product more and hide flaws in the background. Sometimes all you need are a few details in the background. Overview shots will give you a better view of the background.
